Acoustic guitar strings help!?
Ok, so I've been playing guitar for about two years and loved every minute of it. I used mostly a standard Fender Stratocaster and I've always used tite DR-FIT 10-gauge strings. So I just bought my first acoustic guitar. A Washburn D10S. I love it so far. I'm hoping to get new channels to replace those that came with. But I'm not sure what the networks to obtain given that I've never had that buy acoustic strings before. What acoustic strings recommend considering what I have used electric strings? (DR Tite-Fit size 10)
I use and recommend nanoweb Elixir light gauge acoustic strings. However, there are plenty of good acoustic strings out there, you should try to find different one we like. Try light-gauge strings unless you have a problem with them staying with them, otherwise, try the medium size, but not more than that.
