Can I play my acoustic guitar? It has been fully painted.?
A friend of mine from my acoustic guitar spray painted white. All this, fingerboard, and all. Is it possible to play this thing again? Can you try to sand the paint on the fretboard? (I have not posted yet because the dishes are brilliant)
It depends on how good this guitar was before the painting – if it is very good, treat it as a cabinet and remove the paint. If not, put into a string and see if the paint is thin enough not to fool with your fingers to press the string to a specific note. Do you hit this "friend" yet?
