Can I make hand made hardwood floor to sell?
I made some hard wood floor to a costumer of my and for me too but I don’t no if I can manufacture more for selling it in a wider range.
Custom made millwork is a very good trade. It costs a good bit to get going. Shapers, saws, and sanders are costly, but if you got an itch-scratch it! I’ve been doing custom work for years. Sometimes the only way to replce damaged wood is to have it custom made. Lots of styles of flooring and trim used in the “50’s and “60’s aren’t available today. I’ve gone as far as having to order a special built set of shaper knives to mill some trim. Nothing is impossible when it comes to wood.
