I have a Kapok guitar (steel strings). The neck joins the body at the 12th fret. Is acoustic or classical?
It is black and has steel strings and the neck joins the body at 12 frets, has a total of 18 dishes. I'm really confused: Is acoustic or classical?
An acoustic guitar is one that does not need or use amplification. A classical guitar is a type of sound. Classical guitars have nylon strings usually (unless someone has replaced with steel) where the neck joins the body at the 12th fret, you probably have a small body steel string acoustic. Most acoustic larger (as battleships) meet at the fret 14.
