If you are a California resident went to the beach to sunbathe for a day, or are planning a family vacation your kids will remember for a long time, you find some beaches to add to your itinerary here.

6. Coronado Beach. If you are in San Diego, you'll love the wide expanse of Coronado Beach, with plenty of space for the extended family. This lovely village is the famous Hotel Del Coronado, and just a short ferry ride outside San Diego Bay. Or you can choose to pack everything needed for a day at the beach and cross the Bay Bridge. No food is sold on the beach so be sure to bring snacks, drinks and other snacks. There is free parking on Ocean Avenue, but quickly gets crowded so try to arrive early.
